Laura's approach

I approach your session as an extention of you. I use very few props unless they are of special importance to your story and keep the attention on expression, connection and candid moments. Your gallery will always contain a variety of images from more traditional poses to artistic interpretations to create art for your home. My clients enjoy my more emotive style and appreciate the humor and joy in life's little moments.

some people just hate to get their picture taken. i get it.

I love a good challenge! Families are all different. Even members of the same family can have vastly different personalities and comfort levels in front of the camera. I am totally cool with that and you should be too! I want my clients to feel like they are being represented as their true selves and not as props. I will gently guide you to the most flattering light and poses and use games and prompts to let your unique personality shine through.
